cc bills auto-fetch ideas
pay for BBPS APIs (and make app online) → impossible for obvious reasons read and parse SMS offline → apple doesn’t allow apps to read messages based on the cards that are added, generate a list of emails that can be used to setup a custom gmail forwarding rule to be able to access and parse cc statements. introduce an independent self-hostable (and managed) web server, app shows steps to add email of this web server to their gmail account (user does all this because automating requires audits which requires money), once forwarding is setup, server can parse the selective emails and forward it to the app. …

Security Hardening
Find someone better at security than myself and do a security review. I’ve tried my best so far, but it will never be enough.
Light theme
This would involve a huge refactor around how color variables are currently named.
Implement "Milestone tracker"
show progress of how much a user has spent in past year on a card, and let them add custom milestone targets and a progress bar based on where they’re at right now. this will probably come after @Implement Billing Cycle and Reminders is implemented
Implement Billing Cycle and Reminders
The idea is to have a billing cycle which is a number between 1 and 31 (rounded to 28 if required), which can be used to create a new view where the cards are sorted by the state they are in, e.g. “No due, next bill generates in X days” “Bill generated” “Due soon” “Past due” “Paid” And a local notification/alert system around it. Long term idea is to see if it’s viable to do offline on-device processing of text messages to get the bill amount. And ability to mark a bill as paid.
Allow editing card details
Currently “edit” is “delete”+”add new”. It’d be nicer to be able to edit cards, without breaking backup/restore compatibility.
