Implement "Milestone tracker"
show progress of how much a user has spent in past year on a card, and let them add custom milestone targets and a progress bar based on where they’re at right now. this will probably come after @Implement Billing Cycle and Reminders is implemented
Implement Billing Cycle and Reminders
The idea is to have a billing cycle which is a number between 1 and 31 (rounded to 28 if required), which can be used to create a new view where the cards are sorted by the state they are in, e.g. “No due, next bill generates in X days” “Bill generated” “Due soon” “Past due” “Paid” And a local notification/alert system around it. Long term idea is to see if it’s viable to do offline on-device processing of text messages to get the bill amount. And ability to mark a bill as paid.
Allow editing card details
Currently “edit” is “delete”+”add new”. It’d be nicer to be able to edit cards, without breaking backup/restore compatibility.
Improve "Add New Card" form
Allow users to only add last 4 digits instead of all 16 digits. Currently the app asks for all 16 digits of the card, which is insane. Instead give users option to add only last 4 digits until they decide to trust the app. Allow users to not provide CVV/PIN, it’s optional in the model already, but the UI enforces it to be mandatory. Allow users to choose CardType and CardProvider in the UI, auto-update based on the number if it’s possible, but allow users to override it. Currently it auto-decides card type and provider behind the scenes.
